16th Annual Made In Hong Kong Film Festival

This summer, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, in conjunction with the Smithsonian’s Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, presents its 16th Annual “Made in Hong” Film Festival.

This year’s film festival features action-packed comedies, thrillers, and martial arts action movies.  In addition, the closing weekend will be devoted to the Kung Fu/Hip Hop connection, featuring a Jackie Chan classic, the New York-based collective Hop Fu and a panel discussion on the influence of Hong Kong cinema and U.S. culture.

Seating is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Auditorium doors open approximately 30 minutes before each show.  All films are in Cantonese with English subtitles.
